Slide Properties: Transitions

Slides in CustomShow can utilize one of the selectable transitions to display during presentation navigation.

Transitions will persist throughout the application, and will appear in all forms of the CustomShow presentation.

This includes when viewed in Full Screen Preview Mode, in the Web Viewer, on the iPad App, and in the Desktop Viewer.

To choose from the list of preset transitions, first select a slide in the Editor Console.

Then click on the Slide tab in the Properties Panel.

The list of Transitions is found in the drop-down menu under Transitions:

  • None
    • Default selection.
    • No transition.
  • Cross Fade
    • Fade between one slide's contents to the next.
  • Move Over
    • Push transition, current slide pushes previous slide from right to left.
  • Pivot
    • Overlapping transition, current slide falls on to previous slide from top left corner.
  • Wipe
    • Overlapping transition, current slide wipes over previous slide from left to right.
  • Iris
    • Overlapping transition, current slide appears and expands from the center of the previous slide.
  • Flip
    • 3D Animation, previous slide moves out on the Z-Axis and spins to reveal current slide.
  • Swing Down
    • Push transition, current slide falls from the top of the previous slide. Displays black background momentarily.
  • Zoom Out
    • 3D Animation, previous slide zooms out on the Z-Axis while current slide appears from right to left.
  • Pull Back
    • 3D Animation, previous slide zooms out on the Z-Axis while current slide zooms out as well, overlapping the previous slide before zooming back in on the Z-Axis.
  • Reflection
    • 3D Animation, previous slide rotates from right to left revealing the current slide.
  • Throw Back
    • 3D Animation, previous slide zooms out to the horizon on the Z-Axis. Current slide appears from the forefront of the screen.
  • Cube Rotate
    • 3D Animation, previous slide rotates on a cube object from right to left revealing the current slide.
