SlideShow Viewer: Basics

The most commonly-used method to show a presentation is to provide a web link, a SlideShow, to a recipient. Sending an invitation to view a recipient in the form of a web link will open the CustomShow Viewer landing page, where the user will be prompted to view the SlideShow.

Depending on the level of security set on the SlideShow, the user may be asked to enter their e-mail address or login with a CustomShow account.

For more information on SlideShow security settings, see the SlideShow Settings article.

In addition to providing a web link, as the owner of a SlideShow you can view your content at any time by opening the SlideShow Console, selecting your SlideShow, and then clicking on the Launch Viewer button that appears as a thumbnail in the top-right corner of the screen.

A SlideShow is controlled by the viewer. To navigate through a presentation, simply click on the slide itself to move forward or back through your presentation or use the keyboard’s arrow keys. You can also click on the slide thumbnails at the bottom of the screen to navigate to the selected slide.

To expand the SlideShow content to Full Screen, click on the Full Screen icon near the bottom right corner of the screen. While in this mode, navigation controls remain the same. You can display the slide thumbnails by placing your mouse cursor over the bottom of the screen. This portion of the viewer is hidden by default. Hit the ESC key on your keyboard to exit this view.

More options for the SlideShow are available in the Options menu found in the top right corner of the screen, including Sharing, Printing, and Viewing all of the SlideShows available to your user account.
