Integration with Salesforce through CustomShow requires users to link a Salesforce-designated Email to their CustomShow account directly.
This allows all notification emails to be included as BCC messages to the specified Salesforce account, adding leads based on the messages sent by CustomShow. This includes SlideShow Views, SlideShow Invitations, and Meeting Invitations.
Salesforce Integration requires an active Salesforce account, as well as ensuring that the sender address is added to Salesforce's My Acceptable Emails setting.
This option can be found in the Personal Setup section, under Email, choose My Email to Salesforce.
The email added to My Acceptable Emails must be the same email address used to login to CustomShow.
Users who wish to use the CustomShow Salesforce Integration can follow the steps outlined below to retrieve their Email to Salesforce Address and add the integration to their CustomShow account:
- In your Salesforce account, in the Personal Setup section, under Email, choose My Email to Salesforce. On this page, Salesforce will display Your Email to Salesforce address.
- Copy the address as pictured above.
- In CustomShow, click on File in the top menu bar and select Salesforce.com...
- Paste the address you copied from Salesforce here and press OK.
