Organizing the Library

CustomShow's Library Console can be freely organized when working with My Presentations and My Resources.

Every user account has a personalized folder to store and organize presentations. An additional folder for each user is created to store and organize media.

Many of the organizational options described here apply to both Presentation and Media folders.

 

  • New Folder
    • Click New Folder at the top of CustomShow to create a new folder in the current location.
    • OR Right-click on any empty space, and click New Folder...
    • A prompt will appear to enter the name of the New Folder.

  • Rename
    • Right-click on a presentation or resource, and click Rename '[name here]'...
  • Delete
    • Right-click on a presentation or resource, and click Delete '[name here]'...
    • OR Click the File menu and select Delete Item(s)...
  • Copy
    • Available only in Presentation folders.
    • Right-click on a presentation, and click Copy '[name here]'...
    • OR Click the Edit menu and select Paste
    • Copying a presentation copies the presentation to your CustomShow clipboard.
  • Paste
    • Available only in Presentation folders.
    • Right-click on a presentation, and click Paste '[name here]'...
    • OR Click the Edit menu and select Paste
    • You can paste presentations directly into folders and sub-folders by right-clicking on the destination folder and clicking Paste Presentation into '[Folder name here]'
  • Duplicate
    • Available only in Presentation folders.
    • Right-click on a presentation, and click Duplicate '[name here]'...
    • Duplicating a presentation will create a copy of the presentation in the same folder. The copy will be named with "Copy of" prior to the name of the presentation.
