Slide elements in the Editor Console can be multi-selected in CustomShow by using hotkeys, much like other editing tools.

To select multiple elements, users can select one element and then hold the CTRL Key (Windows), the CMD Key (Mac OSX), or the Shift Key and click on any number of other elements.

Users can also press the Select All shortcut while in the Editor Console to select all elements on a slide. This shortcut is CTRL and A (Windows) or CMD and A (Mac OSX).

Once elements have been selected, users can perform the following actions:

  • Move
  • Cut
  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Delete
  • Duplicate
  • Resize
  • Align & Distribute

Multi-Selected elements can be edited at the same time, but not to the same extent as a single element. This means that attempting to rotate or modify specific properties will not be possible in these cases.

When multiple elements are selected, the Editor Console's Properties Panel will display the Elements tab by default. The Appearance and Build tabs will not be available.

The Slide Elements section in the Properties Panel can also be used to select or multi-select elements on the slide. This is done with the same keyboard actions as described above.
