CustomShow Desktop Viewer: Multiple Displays (Mirrored vs. Extended)

The CustomShow Desktop Viewer supports multi-display presenting, allowing users to show SlideShow content to an audience while controlling the experience from a separate display.

This feature is outlined in our article on CustomShow Desktop Viewer: Audience View.

Users who are running on systems that are set to Mirrored displays will be unable to utilize this feature. Multiple display setups must be configured to use Extended displays, as each of the windows associated with the CustomShow Desktop Viewer are completely separate.

The steps to enable an Extended display configuration differ depending on whether a system is running with Mac OS X or Windows:

Extended Display: Mac OS X

More information can be found on Apple's official Support page for Multiple Displays.
